Kim Marches to the Capitol

by Daniel A. Nelson

It's been a productive few days for our team. We just spent the day in Albany following Kim as she lobbied for the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act.

Kim sat down with Republican New York State Senator Phil Boyle to discuss what more could be done to push the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act forward.

The bill is stuck in the codes committee, which Senator Boyle is a member. He explained what the committee does and what needs to be done to get the DVSJA to the next stage.

The trip shed a lot of light on where to go from here and showed the true colors of certain senators who canceled plans to be with us on camera at the last minute.

As always, thank you to everyone who has been a part of our campaign in one way or the other. We're passed the halfway point and still need your support. Even just spreading the word goes a long way to meeting our goal. Until then, the fight continues!
